I’m not scared to die – Lawrence on living with MND

Living with Motor Neuron Disease can be incredibly challenging, but Lawrence has found inner peace through it all. Despite the uncertainties and difficulties that come with the disease, Lawrence says he’s not scared to die.

“MND has given me a new perspective on life,” he shares. “It has taught me to cherish every moment and to be grateful for the small things in life that we often take for granted.”

Lawrence’s positive attitude towards his condition has inspired many around him. He believes in living each day to the fullest and not dwelling on the things he can’t change.

“I’ve learned to let go of fear and embrace the inevitable,” Lawrence says. “I find comfort in the idea that death is just another journey, and I trust that I’ll be at peace when the time comes.”

Despite the physical limitations imposed by MND, Lawrence remains active in pursuing his passions and advocating for awareness about the disease.

“I want to make a difference and leave a legacy behind,” he says. “I may not have control over my body, but I still have control over how I choose to live my life.”

Lawrence’s resilience and strength in the face of adversity serve as a powerful reminder to us all to live courageously and authentically, no matter what challenges we may face.

“I hope my story can inspire others to find peace and acceptance in their own journeys,” Lawrence concludes. “Life is too short to waste on fear and regret.”
