No Distractions
As I train relentlessly for my upcoming para-powerlifting competition, I have made a conscious effort to eliminate all distractions. I wake up every morning with a single-minded focus on my goal – breaking the national record in my weight class.
There are no social media notifications to tempt me, no idle chit-chat with friends to divert my attention. My phone is turned off, and my training schedule is meticulously planned out to maximize every minute in the gym.
My coach has been instrumental in helping me stay on track, pushing me to my limits and beyond. Together, we analyze every lift, every technique, looking for ways to shave off an extra kilogram or two.
My diet is strict, my rest is regimented. I have sacrificed countless nights out with friends, opting instead to visualize my success on the competition stage. I know that every choice I make now will have a direct impact on my performance.
As the competition draws closer, I feel a sense of calm and confidence wash over me. I am ready. I am focused. I am prepared to leave it all on the platform and make my mark in para-powerlifting history.
There will be no distractions on the day of the competition. No doubts, no fears, only the sheer determination to succeed. I have worked too hard, sacrificed too much, to let anything stand in the way of my goal.
I am ready to soar, to break barriers, to shatter expectations. This is my moment, my time to shine. And with no distractions in my way, I know that nothing can stop me from reaching my full potential.
Watch out, world. I’m coming for that record.
